Today, you are 10 months old, and all I can think is that in two months, you'll be a year old. I just can't believe it. Baby girl, you have made this past (almost) year so amazing for me and daddy. We are so blessed to be the parents of the sweetest little baby in the world. Please always know how very very much we love you!

The past month you have reached a lot of milestones! You are a completely different baby these days. You can finally crawl!!! You are very happy about this and so are we! It's been a long road to reach this achievement. We thought for a few days you might crawl like cousin Anna did, a funny little movement that involved one straight leg and one bent one and a lot of scooting....but then you actually crawled on all hands and knees :) You are now figuring out that you can follow me out of your bedroom or into the kitchen from the living room. You are very happy with yourself when you reach your final destination!

Shortly after learning to crawl, you figured out you could also pull yourself up on things. You've been attempting this for quite sometime, but have just now been able to achieve it. You still don't realize you have to keep holding on or you'll fall, so I have to keep a pretty close eye on you.

But, my most favorite milestone of all is....your first word!!! MAMA! I was soooo excited, cause I was sure it would be daddy. You mainly say it now when you are upset and wanting comfort or when you are frustrated. You about broke my heart the other night when I was having to hold you down and spray saline solution in your nose to help with really bad congestion. You cried and cried and then said, "Ma-Maaaaa" over and over in a pitiful voice. If you hadn't been so sick, I wouldn't have had the heart to continue.

We also celebrated your first Christmas this month. It was so fun and I felt like a little kid myself waiting for it to get here. Daddy, me and you had our own little Christmas here at home in the morning and then we went to Grandpa and Grandma Logans and then in the afternoon we went to Grandpa and Grandma Staffords. We had a great time, and you LOVED all your presents. Here's some pictures of this last month.
